The Hufcor 600 Series is simply the most versatile and aesthetically pleasing operable wall constructed today. The 600 Series consolidates Hufcor’s industry leading features offered for decades. The benefits from each of the 5000, 6000 and 7000 Series product lines are wrapped into a single, heavy-duty steel system in both 3" [76] and 4" [100] nominally thick panels. The 600 Series combines the durability of a welded steel frame with the design versatility of various acoustical and aesthetic face constructions.

The versatility of the design allows the new operable walls to be manufactured with Hufcor’s quick-set mechanical top and bottom seals that provide the most efficient in-field operation. Hufcor’s time-tested protective edge trim is standard on both 3" and 4" models, yet both can be supplied with a monolithic, untrimmed edge. The improved deep nesting, interlocking bull-nose/astragal and integrated compression seals provide an improved vertical seal system. And, the design allows the panels to be interchangeable for facilities requiring multiple set-up locations.

Upgraded Pass Door Features
Hufcor’s pass door system has been redesigned
to provide optimal in-field performance. Some
highlights include:

• ADA compliant push-pull door hardware
• Edge activated bottom seals with stabilizing downward seal force

Firewall Models 641F (Individual, omni-directional panels) and 642F (Paired panels)

To meet local code requirements, the 600 Series is also available as a one-hour fire rated partition in both paired and omni-directional models. The product was tested at the U.L. testing laboratories and has achieved special purpose fire door and frame assembly certification.

Similar to the standard 600 series panels, Firewall models have retractable top and bottom seals, quick set seal operation, waist high seal activator, steel faces and frame. They also have a 51 or 53 STC rating.

The faces may be finished with Hufcor standard vinyl, carpet, or fabric, which meets the UL requirement of 15 or less flame spread. The panels may also be furnished with customer selected material or be unfinished for field decoration. However, it is imperative that any non-Hufcor standard materials be approved by the local Fire Marshall.

Firewall also offers a variety of options and features that were tested and achieved U.L. Classification. No manufacturer can offer similar options or features unless they were U.L. tested as part of an operable wall or door unit.
