An Introduction To Moveable Glass Partitioning Systems

An Introduction to Moveable Glass Partitioning Systems reviews the basics of moveable glass partitioning systems, including frameless, acoustic, and weather resistant types.

The program is approximately one hour long. After a brief introduction by the presenter, an audio-visual presentation will be made to cover the learning objectives, complete with animated graphics and pictures to help the learning process. At the end of the presentation, an interactive period will be provided for discussion. A short quiz will be given for feedback and interactive purposes.

Upon completion, AIA members will earn 1 Learning Unit and a certificate of completion.

After completing this program, participants will have a better understanding of:

  • The 3 major types of moveable glass partitioning systems
  • Aesthetic applications of moveable glass partitioning systems
  • The differences between single/omni-directional, center hung/paired, and manual train configurations
  • Features relating to visual barriers, acoustic performance and weather resistance
