Hufcor Series 600 Product Highlights
Product Brief CAD Drawings and Specifications Photo Album
The Hufcor 600 Series is the most versatile and aesthetically pleasing operable wall constructed today. The 600 Series combines the durability of a heavy-duty welded steel frame with the versatility of various acoustical and aesthetic face constructions.

The design allows the operable walls to be manufactured with Hufcor's quick-set retractable top and bottom seals that provide the most reliable in-field operation. Protective edge trim is standard on both 3" and 4" models, yet both can be supplied with a monolithic, untrimmed edge. The deep nesting, interlocking bullnose/astragal and integrated compression seals provide a tight vertical seal system for superior sound isolation.

Operable partitions are available in three configurations: single panels for optimal flexibility; paired panels for wall-to-wall separation; or continuously hinged (train) for wall-to-wall electric operation.

Available Options
The Hufcor 600 Series product has a host of options including marker boards, marker/chalk trays, eraser pockets, inset and face mounted exit signs, and HufGard™ safety systems for electric partitions.

Also available are pocket doors to cover the storage area opening. Hufcor pocket doors are built the same as the Series 600 panels and may be finished to match the panels or provided unfinished for field decoration to match the room's perimeter walls.

Firewall Models 641F (Individual, omni-directional panels) and 642F (Paired panels)
Product Brief CAD Drawings and Specifications Photo Album
To meet local code requirements, the 600 Series is also available as a one-hour fire rated partition in both paired and omni-directional models. The product was tested at the U.L. testing laboratories and has achieved special purpose fire door and frame assembly certification.

Similar to the standard 600 series panels, Firewall models have retractable top and bottom seals, quick set seal operation, waist high seal activator, steel faces and frame. They also have a 51 or 54 STC rating.

The faces may be finished with Hufcor standard vinyl, carpet, or fabric, which meets the UL requirement of 15 or less flame spread. The panels may also be furnished with customer selected material or be unfinished for field decoration. However, it is imperative that any non-Hufcor standard materials be approved by the local Fire Marshall.

Firewall also offers a variety of options and features that were tested and achieved U.L. Classification. No manufacturer can offer similar options or features unless they were U.L. tested as part of an operable wall or door unit.

Hufcor Firewall Options or Features include:

  • Pass-thru doors
  • Push to open hardware
  • Partition intersections
  • Pocket doors
  • Inset marker boards
  • Flush chair rail pans
  • Perforated faces
