Continuously Hinged(known also as trains):

Continuously hinged panels are hinged together and move from wall to wall in a straight line. Electric models are often used in school gymnasiums and hotel ballrooms. They operate with keyed switches. Optional safety systems are available as an extra measure of safety to prevent damage to property and people when the system is moving. This is extremely important if the partitions will be used in facilities with children in the area

Optional Safety Systems for use with Continuously Hinged Partitions

HufGard™

HufGard™ stops the partition movement if people or objects are in the path of the partition when it is being extended, or in the pocket area when the panels are being stacked.

Hufgard incorporates several important safety features:

Pressure-sensitive leading edge compresses and is designed so that only 9 lbs. [4.08] force will stop the forward motion of the partition

Weight-sensitive floor mat in the storage pocket prevents partition movement with as little as 5 lbs. [2.3] of weight applied

Wall-mounted control

CAUTION: Use of HufGard requires additional pocket width. Contact your Hufcor distributor for dimension requirements.

Additional Safety Control Systems
