As you might expect from the world's largest manufacturer of operable partitions, Hufcor offers an extensive selection of products. The most popular partitions are sound rated operables. Often called Airwalls®, models are available for varying space division, acoustical, design, and budget needs. Operable wall models are also available for specific needs such as glass panels, gymnasium partitions, weight transfer, fire rated, and a beam & post self-support system. Accordion, portable, and mobile partitions round out our product offering.

Hufcor offers three types of full height partitions: operables, accordian, and portable panels. We also offer a line of operable partitions called Glasswall. Glasswall combines space flexibility with the functional beauty of glass. Each of these partition types can be used in any facility and each meets various sound control and division requirements. A fourth partition type is Roommate™, which is a part-high mobile partition that rolls on casters and folds into a compact unit.

Operable Partitions/Airwalls®, are also described as movable walls, flat panels, movable partition wall, acoustic moveable wall, folding doors, or folding walls). Operables consist of a series of interlocking panels suspended from an overhead track system. When in place, the panels are similar in appearance to a permanent wall. A selection of face coverings is available to match or coordinate with the room decor. Accessories and options such as inset marker, chalk and tack boards, eraser pockets, and pass doors provide additional versatility. Operables are available as individual (omni-directional) panels, pairs, or continuously hinged (train) configurations.

Hufcor offers models with a selection of sound ratings and varying characteristics that meet functional, budget and design requirements. In addition to "standard" models, products may also be customized to meet specific project needs. Paired Panels – For wall-to-wall division. Panels are hinged in pairs and are manually operated. Completely close the opening or place panels along the track for use as display panels or sight dividers. Recommended for: classrooms, meeting rooms and training centers.

Individual Panels – (Individual, single, manually operated panels offer optimum room flexibility. The track system enables panels to intersect, be set at angles, or be moved to alternate locations. Curves and self-storing systems are available. Recommended for: hotel ballrooms and convention centers, religious facilities, school multi-use areas.

Continuously Hinged - (Panels are hinged together and move from wall to wall in a straight line for fast, easy set-up. Panels are electrically operated; however, small openings are also available manually operated. Recommended for: hotel ballrooms and gymnasiums. IMPORTANT: View the Options & Safety Systems page for important safety options available with electric partitions.

Accordion Partitions/Doors (also known as accordion doors, folding doors, accordion walls, folding walls, or room dividers) Accordion doors provide instant privacy for meetings, classes or other work areas. More than 50 years of engineering refinements make them the most coveted accordions in the industry because they are built to last. Simply pull the door away from the wall, move it across the opening and latch. Sound rated models available. Optional curved track, switches, and posts allow the doors to be moved to alternate locations or to intersect with other accordion doors or operable walls. Manual or electric operation. Select accordion doors for use in areas where frequent, fast, easy space division is needed such as classrooms, or meeting rooms.

Portable Panels - These lightweight panels are self-contained and do not require track. An expanding top member nests into a receptacle attached to the ceiling. Each panel is placed in position to create a wall, form rooms, or, they may be used individually as display panels. Portable panels are an economical solution for space separation where medium to low sound control requirements are needed and the panels are moved infrequently.

Unispan™ – Unispan™ is a system that provides independent support for partitions. It is used for installing partitions in buildings that do not have adequate overhead structural support to suspend traditional operable partitions. Unispan consists of a steel and aluminum horizontal truss and two support columns. Bracing is needed for lateral stability. The support columns at each end of the Unispan transfer the weight of the partition system to the floor. Operable, glasswall, or accordion partitions may be suspended in Unispan.

Unispan is ideal for commercial building owners in need of providing tenants with flexible space. Since the system is not permanent, the Unispan system can be moved and reset into another location to accommodate future tenant needs. In addition to commercial office buildings, applications of Unispan are perfect for schools needing to remodel "open" plans and in shopping centers where training facilities are being installed.
