Project Details

Archbishop McCarthy High School in Southwest Ranches, FL has been recognized as one of the top 50 Catholic high schools in the nation. The school strives to provide varied religious experiences, educational offerings, athletic programs, social/cultural opportunities and community service encounters, all designed to provide students with the skills they need for personal and professional success.

Their “21st Century Classroom”, which features Hufcor GL Series frameless glass walls, was designed to seamlessly integrate new technology into the school’s academic curriculum. The Hufcor frameless glass walls allow the large, 8,000 sq. ft. room to be divided into four separate classrooms. The rooms can be used individually, or as separate parts of larger learning experience in which the students in each classroom interact with lecture material via Apple iPads and AppleTV.

The floor-to-ceiling, trimless glass walls provide the lecturer with a clear line of sight into each classroom, while maintaining some acoustic separation from room to room. Hinged inset pass door panels allow easy access into each room when the walls are in place.

Hufcor is proud to be part of Archbishop McCarthy High School’s 21st Century Classroom. Go Mavericks!
